Forget snagging museum exhibit tickets to admire a display of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s art. The city of Deerfield Beach recently unveiled a new outdoor fitness court wrapped in reproductions of the late artist’s paintings, thanks to a grant from the National Fitness Campaign. Deerfield Beach is now one of 10 U.S. locations to boast an art-themed fitness park like the one located in Pastor Willie James Ford Sr. Linear Park. The court boasts QR codes that provide workout instructions, or stop by for weekly in-person classes led by local fitness ambassadors.
