Taste at the Track returns to Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach to showcase the park’s main attractions: racing and delicious dining. Guests will flock to the third floor Flamingo Room overlooking the track, where unlimited food and drink stations await. The series will feature three themed events, including: Burgers & Brews on August 6; Tacos & Tequila on August 27; and BBQ & Bourbon on September 24. All events take place on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. and guests must be 21 years old or older to attend.
For the brewery-inclined set, Taste at the Track will kick off with Burgers & Brews on August 6, featuring favorite premium beers from local craft breweries. Guests will enjoy tastings by J Wakefield, Funky Buddha, Boulevard Brewery, Wicked Weed, Veza Sur, Goose Island, 26 Degrees, 3 Sons, Biscayne Bay, Cerveza Tropical, and more. The event’s top burger picks include: the Pegasus beef burger, with chipotle aioli, cheddar cheese, and crispy onions; the braised pork belly slider, with ginger guava glaze and potato sticks; and the venison burger, with mango ketchup, pancetta, and smoked Roma tomato and chipotle sauce.
It’s taco and tequila time on August 27. At this iteration of Taste at the Track, Casamigos, Volcán, Lunazul, Tres Agaves, and Casa Noble will pour samples of their finest tequilas to pair perfectly with unlimited tacos, Mexican street corn, fresh guacamole, assorted salsas, and churros for dessert.
The series concludes with BBQ & Bourbon on September 24, which will showcase Southern-style dishes, paired with the premium bourbons, whiskeys, and handcrafted cocktails. Amador, High West, Treaty Oak, Makers 46, Iron Smoke, Jim Beam, and Jack Daniels will offer tastings to accompany brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and more.
