The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation’s annual Out of the Kitchen fundraiser is back June 5, at its new home at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood. Known for an unmatched annual lineup of South Florida’s top chefs, the event is a must for epicureans. Last year’s soirée raised nearly $350,000, with all proceeds benefiting the cure-focused work of the Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
This interactive experience offers the opportunity for guests to engage with some of South Florida’s top culinary artists in intimate setting. The chefs will prepare innovative and creative (and surprise) multi-course meals tableside, with the added thrill of guests not knowing what they will be served beforehand.
To complement dinner, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception with special pop-up food and beverage experiences. The event will also feature an assortment of wines, an exciting live auction of private, in-home dinners provided by some of the evening’s popular chefs, and more. The night will conclude with a delightful dessert party.
