Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale will debut “Discovery Spot,” presented by JM Family Enterprises, on August 4.

The engaging, 4,000-square-foot exhibit offers myriad opportunities for young visitors to explore Florida’s ecosystems thanks to interactive activations like “Ocean to Air” and the “Everglades to the Citrus Grove.”

Each area supports a child’s open-ended and imaginative play, encouraging them to splash, climb, tinker, and explore.

The new “Discovery Spot” celebrates the museum’s legacy as The Discovery Center, which was installed as a permanent exhibit space at the museum when it opened in 1992. Since its inception, the museum has welcomed more than 12 million guests from across the world.

Exhibit access is included with museum admission. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office. For more information, click here.
