In honor of Harry Potter’s birthday on July 31, the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale will host a birthday bash for the “Boy Who Lived” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum will invite visitors to put on their finest dress robes and discover the science behind the wizardry and other magical delights.
Attendees of all ages will create their own make-and-take wand in The Hangar, meet some of the creatures that call the museum home, and visit the Potions Lab to mix up concoctions that would make Professor Snape proud. This fun will be complete with tricks, spells, illusions, and potions at the STEM Magic Show in the Keller Science Theater.
Masks are mandatory for all guests older than 2, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone is required to follow MODS’ Healthy Choices Make Healthy Scientists protocols to ensure a safe experience.
All activities are free with admission to the museum. For more information, click here.
