Soak up the sun and enjoy holiday fun at The LOOP‘s third annual Wonderland, a series of festive activities happening now through January 1. Locals and visitors alike will make lasting memories through an array of sights, sounds, special activities and performances.
New this year, guests can glide and groove on The Wonderland RINK at Las Olas Oceanside Park, a 4,000 square-foot eco-friendly marvel that brings the thrill of ice skating seaside. Composed of self-moisturizing, seamless tongue-and-groove panels, The RINK offers a smooth surface for skaters to glide as they would on conventional ice.
Open daily through January 1, The RINK features weekly specialty theme skates, including Chill & Thrill College Student Skate Monday; Giving Tuesday, benefiting local nonprofits; Glam & Glide Girls’ Night Out on Wednesdays; Rock The RINK on Fridays with live music; Love on Ice Couples Night on Saturdays; and Family Skate with Santa and friends on Sundays. Half-time skates will take place every Monday and Wednesday for guests aged 55 years and older, and every Tuesday and Thursday for children aged 3-5 years. Enjoy hot chocolate, iced coffees, and other holiday treats from Ry’s Coffee daily.
Head to The LOOP on December 24 for Christmas Eve with Sinatra from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Featuring Jeff Grainger, backed by his six-piece band with Rat Pack buddies Sammy and Dean, guests will feel like they are back in the Swing Era. The concert is free to attend and welcomes all ages. A limited number of VIP Supper Club-style tables are available for purchase.
