History Fort Lauderdale Honors Latin Artists

“Viva Fort Lauderdale: Celebrating Hispanic Art & Culture," on view September 18 to October 2, celebrates the works of local Latin artists

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, History Fort Lauderdale will present “Viva Fort Lauderdale: Celebrating Hispanic Art & Culture” from September 18 to October 2. This fine art exhibit celebrates the contributions of the multicultural Latin community and features works by Colombian artist Leonardo Montoya, Venezuelan artists Lifrancis Rojas and Isabel Perez Salazar, Spanish artist Florencia Clement de Grandprey, Cuban artist Hernan Rodriguez, and others. The exhibit will debut with a meet-and-greet reception with the artists at noon on September 18 at the New River Inn.

All of the works will be exhibited in a newly renovated art space on the first level of the New River Inn. Entry to the exhibit is free with general admission; $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $7 for students (through age 22 with a valid student ID). Admission is always free for members, military, and children ages six and younger. Tickets are available online.
