The Ghost Light Society, the next generation of supporters of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, will take the stage for its annual fundraiser benefiting the Broward Center’s award-winning arts-in-education programs.
Presented by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG), the 12th Annual Ghost Light Society Soirée, “Soirée Under the Sea,” is set for Saturday, November 6, on the stage of The Parker, the newly reimagined iconic entertainment venue at 707 N.E. 8th Street in Fort Lauderdale. More than 250 guests are expected to attend and enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, live entertainment and more.
“For more than a decade, the Ghost Light Society’s annual soireé has been one of the most highly anticipated events of the season, selling out every year. This dedicated group of professionals has raised more than one million dollars during that time to grow arts education and support the performing arts in Broward County,” said Heather Geronemus, event co-chair and UKG’s Director of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility. “We can’t wait to get back together again at The Parker to safely celebrate and support the arts.”
“This has been a very challenging year for everyone in our community, including the arts and culture sector,” said Peter Neirouz, event co-chair and Director of Major Gifts for Broward Health Foundation. “We appreciate the support of all of our sponsors and host committee for coming together to make this amazing event possible and, most importantly, helping to ensure the future of innovative arts-in-education programs that benefit more than 130,000 Broward students annually.”
In addition to Presenting Sponsor UKG, the Soirée is supported by Diamond Sponsors Broward Health and Twig, Trade & Tribunal PLLC, as well as by Platinum Sponsors Akerman LLP, Cassel & Cassel, P.A. and Crowe LLP. Additional sponsorship opportunities, VIP packages, and individual tickets are available starting at $150.
Masks are highly recommended for attendees of the event except while eating or drinking. The Broward Center continues to closely monitor the guidance of public health authorities and Cleveland Clinic regarding indoor activities and plan safety protocols accordingly. Specific health and safety guidelines and protocols are subject to change and will be communicated to attendees in advance of the event.
