Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery in Fort Lauderdale will invite patrons to celebrate Oktoberfest with exclusive specials from Wednesday, September 22, through Sunday, October 10. Sistrunk‘s Khoffner Brewery will host a traditional Oktoberfest celebration including favorite beer options, German dishes (think: schnitzels, bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels, and strudels), beer-inspired activations, limited beer bottle releases, and more. Guests can drop by for live music on Thursday (6:30 to 10:30 p.m.), Friday and Saturday (7 to 11 p.m.), and Sunday (2 to 6 p.m.), and are welcome to don their best costumes for the Oktoberfest Costume Contest (September 24 and 25, and October 1, 2, 8, and 9) for a chance to win a free beer—and some serious bragging rights.
For those who know their brews, Khnoffer will host Blind Beer Contests (September 25, and October 2 and 9) where guests will aim to guess three out of the five to win. Winners will receive a free beer to celebrate their victory. The contest costs $20 to enter and includes 5 beer flights and a t-shirt.
In addition to Sistrunk’s Oktoberfest celebration, the marketplace will host its monthly SMArtWalk on Saturday, September 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. Patrons can tour among artist Dorvilier Oliver‘s captivating works while enjoying an intimate 30-minute performance by R&B artist Kimosabe.
