Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, the historic and whimsical 35-acre subtropical estate in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, will host guided tours at 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday through October 31.
The museum’s docents will take guests through the house and share information about each room, the collection’s most significant items, the Birch-Bartlett family, and the house’s 100-year history. Nine tickets will be sold per tour and cost $25 each. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Visitors will enjoy a one-way route around the estate to take in the grounds’ architecture, art, history, and ecology. Guests (except children two years old and younger) must wear masks or face coverings at all times. Face coverings, water, and other refreshments will be available for purchase in the Welcome Center or Museum Shop.
