The Ann Storck Center, the Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit dedicated to enriching lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its Thirty-Seventh Annual Volleyball Challenge presented by CHEW (Custom Homes by Eddie Waters) June 10 on Pompano Beach (270 N. Pompano Beach Blvd.).

Kicking off at 8 a.m., the community event will feature a fun-filled day of volleyball, a live DJ, a raffle, prizes, lunch, dinner, beverages, and more, all for a good cause. Co-ed 6’s volleyball teams are invited to participate in the beach volleyball tournament in open, competitive, or recreational divisions. Teams must consist of a minimum of six players and can be a maximum of eight players. Players younger than 18 years old must sign a waiver.

Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy an after party on the rooftop of the Tru by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier, from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Individual tournament entry is available for $50 and registration for a team of eight is $400. Registration includes lunch and dinner, and begins at 7:30 a.m. on event day.

Proceeds from the Volleyball Challenge will benefit Ann Storck Center, which accommodates 96 permanent residents and serves more than 300 clients daily through an array of critical care, learning and ability focused programs.

For parking, the most convenient place to access the event is the Pompano Beach Parking Garage (3460 NE 3rd St., Pompano Beach).
