Zero Empty Spaces (ZES) will host an Art Throwdown at its Boynton Beach location on Saturday, July 17,Ā  from 6 to 9 p.m. During the Throwdown, local artists will have two hours to create a masterpiece based on a theme given that evening. The winner of the Throwdown will receive a Peopleā€™s Choice trophy. All pieces will be sold, with proceeds going to the related artist.

ā€œWe hope that by bringingĀ artists together we can showcase much of the talent that can be found here in South Florida,ā€ saidĀ Hilary Mangel, Zero Empty Spaces (Boynton Beach) and Art Throwdown co-organizer. ā€œThis is a great way to give artistsĀ a chance to be challenged and have fun creating with like-minded individuals, while exposing how talented ourĀ artist community truly is.ā€Ā

Artists will have 30 minutes to plan and prepare for their pieces. At 6:30, artists will have two hours to create their artwork based on the selected theme. Prosecco, light bites, a DJ, and MC will fuel the fun.

During the Throwdown, studios will be open for attendees to browse. The other co-organizers of the event are Zero Empty Spaces Boynton Beach artists Nicole Galluccio and Melissa Mastrangelo.
