Fort Lauderdale Art and Design Week

Launched in 2020, Fort Lauderdale Art and Design Week was created out of a desire to unite artists and the public. Since its inception, the event has offered self-guided tours, events, and a celebration of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s cultural scene. This year’s rendition (January 21-29) will bring a slew of new exhibitions to locales including the NSU Art Museum, Coral Springs Museum of Art, and Art & Culture Center/Hollywood, among others. Fort Lauderdale Art and Design Week founder Andrew Martineau suggests checking out Ignite Broward, a family-friendly art experience featuring five days and nights of immersive light- and sound-based art created by top national and international artists and designers. Don’t miss Ignite’s kickoff January 25 at the Museum of Discovery and Science.
