
‘Tis the season for juicy, sweet mango. While there are many ways to enjoy this tropical fruit, we find infusing it into a cocktail to be the most fun—and Brimstone Woodfire Grill in Pembroke Pines has just the ticket. Bartender Saul Amaya created the Mango Sol, a blend of tequila, peach schnapps, lime juice, agave, mangos, and habaneros that Brimstone Restaurant Group beverage director Jodi Patten describes as “the perfect blend of sweet and spicy.”
Ingredients
1 habanero
½ oz. lime juice
Splash of agave nectar
2 oz. Herradura tequila
1 oz. peach schnapps
½ oz. mango puree
Tajín seasoning
Lime for garnish
Muddle sliced habanero in lime and agave in a shaker. Add tequila, peach schnapps, and mango puree. Fill with ice, shake, and strain over fresh ice in a glass with a Tajín rim. Garnish with lime.
