You might require some GPS help to pinpoint the whereabouts of YOT Bar & Kitchen, but the off-the-beaten-path locale is what makes this waterfront restaurant a hit. Nestled in the Lauderdale Marine Center, YOT offers a dining oasis that appeals to those arriving by land or sea. Owner Mike Linder, who brought Jet Runway Café to town, infuses his hospitality know-how into several of the eatery’s highlights, including a floating dock bar slinging tasty sips like Lime in the Coconut, a cocktail that gives off vacation vibes with coconut rum, lime, and refreshing coconut water. YOT’s newly launched brunch features delicacies such as a short-rib-blend breakfast burger topped with American cheese, bacon, a fried egg, hash browns, and spicy mayo. The head-turning, thick-stacked almond-and-corn-flake-crusted brioche French toast is so indulgent it will probably take two spoons to scoop up every last bite of vanilla-bourbon custard and fresh berry compote.
