Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana
Sink your teeth into some seriously good pizza—with some serious history behind the brand. The iconic Connecticut-based eatery Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana recently opened at Plantation Walk, offering New Haven–style “apizza” (pronounced “a-beetz,” a nod to the dialect of the Neapolitan immigrants who first brought pizza to the region), characterized by the crispy yet chewy, slightly charred crust that Frank Pepe originated in 1925. Enjoy specialty pizzas like the White Clam, a Frank Pepe classic featuring fresh clams, pecorino Romano, a proprietary oil blend, garlic, and oregano, or the Amanti Della Carne, with crushed Italian tomatoes, mozzarella, meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and pecorino Romano.
This locals’ favorite cookie shop debuted in Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village in 2019, offering over-the-top cookies from pastry chef Max Santiago. Blueprint Cookies has since launched a West Broward locale at The Fountains in Plantation and an outpost in Boca Raton, too. “We are not just a cookie shop,” says co-owner Adam August. “We are a hospitality company that makes amazing and unique cookies.” Options range from the mainstay chocolate chip to rotating flavors like Funfruity, Peanut Butter Chip, and ChurroDoodle.
