Add some sparkle to your wardrobe during a trip to Kristaylor, a new boutique at the River Market plaza in Fort Lauderdale that specializes in jewelry and accessories. Owner Laurie Puleri is no novice to the industry. Her family started an accessories company in Naples 20 years ago, and she took it over about six years ago.
The brand, Lookalikes, doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar location, so sales are done through pop-up shops in local markets, causing profits to be seasonal.
So, when the opportunity to open a storefront in Fort Lauderdale—where Puleri is from—presented itself, she took it. With the new venture came a rebranded name: Kristaylor, a fusion of Puleri’s two daughters’ names.
