Oakley: A peek at the store’s custom sunglass system

If you’re an athlete (or active at all), Oakley’s sunglasses line is for you.

During a recent visit to the Aventura shop, we were blown away by how technologically advanced, durable and completely customizable the brand’s shades are. Here’s a quick guide to our favorite pairs, which are all fully customizable online and in-store.

Radar Path Golf

1. Radarlock: Choose your lens color based on the type of environment you’ll use these sunglasses, and pick out a couple extra colors because the lens are interchangable. Select from two different lens shapes, both without a bottom frame rim that would block downward view. A venting option allows for a cooling flow of air. Nose-pads and ear-locks increase comfort and grip when you sweat; from $220

Holbrooke

Holbrooke

2. Holbrook: Lightweight and impact-resistant, these are great everyday frames, created as a collaboration between snowboarder Shaun White and Oakley. They come in 14 different lens color and frame combinations; from $120

TwoFace Black

3. TwoFace: Designed for surfers and skaters, rest assured these babies aren’t coming off your face. Oakley’s Three-Point Fit is comfortable, eliminating uneven pressure points while keeping the lenses aligned. High Definition Optics® in the lenses provide unmatchable clarity and durability.
