Lobster Bar Sea Grille

If downtown Fort Lauderdale was missing an uber-chic, white-tablecloth, see-and-be-scene restaurant, it found it in Lobster Bar Sea Grille. Buckhead Life Restaurant Group (Chops Lobster Bar and City Fish Market) took over the empty space once occupied by Jackson’s Steakhouse, bringing to the table a decadent dining experience.

The atmosphere is open and airy, with textured, tiled walls and ceilings, and large windows providing plenty of natural lighting during the day. The menu, consisting mainly of seafood and steak, is just as high-end as the décor. The restaurant’s Whole Fish Experience, intended for sharing, features a selection of eight different fish cooked whole. Guests can also order live lobsters or prime steaks. The restaurant even steps it up with its burger – served with ground shortrib, brisket and chuck with tomato jam, melted Gruyère, bibb, a special sauce and homemade bun.
