Restaurants in Mizner Park come and go, but every once in awhile a gem pops up with staying power. Open since earlier this year, restaurant/jazz lounge JAZZIZ Nightlife has already had the likes of Molly Ringwald and Jon Secada grace its stage. When it’s not playing host to larger concerts with big-name acts, it features live music nightly. The stunning 11,700-square-foot space features a cigar bar and piano room, outdoor dining, champagne and caviar bar, and a soundproof private dining room for parties. But while the beauty of the restaurant and the quality of the entertainment both make it a must-visit, the food created by Executive Chef Justin Flit (who has worked with Daniel Boulud) is exceptional and makes the restaurant one you’ll keep coming back to. When developing the menu, founder Michael Fagien also drew inspiration from some of his all-time favorite South Florida restaurants, looking to create a burger as good as the ones at Charm City Burger Company and foie gras as good as the old Mark’s Las Olas.
