Lately, “brunch” has come to mean waiting an hour to join a crowd of post-grads in maxi dresses sipping unlimited mimosas. NYY Steak offers a more upscale, refined experience. The New York Yankees-themed restaurant is elegant, clean and “sporty chic,” featuring an autographed wall of players and baseball-diamond-shaped dishes.
Brunch is served Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended. The menu changes weekly so chefs can use the freshest, seasonal ingredients. The $60/person check buys access to stations stocked with seafood, salads, carved meats, pancakes, omelets and every dessert imaginable. The fresh pancake station with fruits, chocolate and heath is a must-try. And yes, unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys are part of the deal, too.
