The spot in Beach Place that used to house SONIC Beach now hosts an upscale-casual restaurant. The space has been completely transformed, with colorful, beachy décor, lounge areas with couch seating, and wooden tables and chairs. The menu brings the traditional comfort food you’d expect to find at the beach, but with a luxe twist. Instead of a traditional burger, you’ll find filet mignon burgers and lamb sausage burgers. Instead of mac and cheese, you’ll find an incredible lobster mac and cheese. Instead of chips and salsa, there’s king crab guacamole. The make-your-own-milkshake bar is a must-try, which offers your pick of different fruits, candy and sauce toppings, and homemade chocolate or vanilla whipped cream.For a real treat, spike the shake with liquors like Baileys, vanilla vodka or Godiva chocolate.
