Dr. Melanie Rosenblatt

Dr. Melanie Rosenblatt provides comprehensive medical and interventional pain management in Broward and Palm Beach counties. She ensures each patient receives personalized care and has many options for safe and effective therapies to relieve pain.

Dr. Rosenblatt graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York and completed her anesthesia residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York. She’s board-certified in anesthesiology, pain management, and addiction medicine.

In 2002, Dr. Rosenblatt opened the doors to Pain Management Strategies for patients who suffer from pain, despite medication and other conventional treatments. She offers numerous advanced interventional treatments that target the nerves responsible for pain, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and spinal cord stimulation. She has extensive experience performing minimally invasive procedures such as kyphoplasty, which stabilizes spinal fractures and relieves pain.

Dr. Rosenblatt was the medical director of pain management for Broward Health North, a level II trauma center from 2002 to 2017 where she was the chairperson of the Credentials and Qualifications Committee and was on the medical executive board. She is a founding partner of Melrose Pain Solutions, medical director for Speranza Therapeutics, and is the chief medical officer of iRecovery.

She is a consultant for the DEA, FBI, and many hospital systems in evaluating opioid prescribing patterns. She serves as a medical expert in the national opioid litigation and has testified extensively about appropriate opioid prescribing and how doctors make prescribing decisions. Dr. Rosenblatt is a recognized thought leader and national expert in her field.

She lectures nationally about safety and risk assessment in the treatment of chronic pain and opioid dependency. Her dedication to preventing and treating addiction is evident through her work.

Dr. Rosenblatt has lived in South Florida since 1995 and has two beautiful children. She enjoys running, being outdoors, and staying fit.
