Dr. Espinosa (left) serves as the Chief of Neurology. Dr. Espinosa attended medical school at Universidad Central del Ecuador and performed his internal medicine and neurology residencies at the University of Kentucky. He earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed an epilepsy and sleep disorders fellowship at Harvard Medical School. His research has appeared in more than 50 prestigious, peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of Neurology, Journal of Clinical Neurology, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, and others. In addition, he is a co-author of one textbook and author of book chapters related to his specialties.
Dr. Chowdhary (right) serves as the Medical Director of Neuro- Oncology. His goal is to develop a destination site world-class neurooncology program in South Florida with clinical trial research and outstanding patient care. He completed his neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of Calgary, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Foothills Hospital in Canada. He completed his neurology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland and Weston. Prior, he completed an internship transition year residency at the Thomas Jefferson Health System Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Chowdhary was born in London, Ontario, Canada and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is an associate professor of neuro-oncology and neurology at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.
