Junior Welfare Society

Junior Welfare Society is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need in Broward County. To prevent homelessness, we provide one-time stabilizing assistance to individuals and families that have experienced an unexpected setback. Using referrals from social service professionals, JWS helps break the cycle of poverty. JWS membership is comprised of 40 active members along with supporting and honorary members. In addition to our financial support project, our fall, spring and summer outreaches address special needs in the community. We welcome volunteers to assist in these special projects.
