Profile
YATC’s mission is to train and educate at-risk youth in basic automotive repair skills, academic remediation, job readiness and life management skills. The goal of this program is to prepare young adults who are at a disadvantage in their lives to become self-sufficient, productive and law-abiding citizens. Founded by automotive pioneer and philanthropist Jim Moran, YATC has been steering at-risk youth toward brighter futures since 1984. With a success rate of more than 90 percent, most graduates are employed or continuing their education. YATC offers support to more than 750 graduates and their families.
